We gather weekly, because we want to experience God and express our love for Him together. Each week, you will experience two main things; music and preaching along with fun and exciting program for kids and youth.
To start off, we all gather for a time of music.
“Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance;praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!”
Psalm 150:1-6 (ESV)
Scripture is full of calls for the people of God to worship him, and to do so passionately and wholeheartedly. This is why we devote a significant portion of our service to doing so. Because He is so great, and because of what He has done for us, we sing songs together to Him. We believe doing so accomplishes 3 main things. First, it gets our eyes on Him and off of ourselves, empowering us to bring Him glory. Second, it unites us in spirit as we sing together worshiping the same God. Lastly, it prepares our heart to receive from His Word.
We typically use a full band with several instruments and singers to lead the congregation for around 30 minutes at the beginning of our service. Our style is contemporary. To check out a sample of the songs we sing, or to just enjoy some good worship music, listen to the playlist below.
After the worship time, we share announcements and dismiss our children to their programs. For a description of our kids programs click here ().
We then dive into God’s word together.
“Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with complete patience and teaching.” 2 Timothy 4:2 (ESV)
The preaching of God’s Word is is the central piece of our gathering. We believe that this time is essential for the trans-formative work of disciple making. Fully convicted that the Bible is authoritative and the proclaiming of it is empowered by the Holy Spirit, we work hard to prepare messages that derive from His word and to interpret it accurately, relevantly and applicably.
The Sunday morning sermon’s are usually delivered by either Pastor Tom or Pastor Pete, although our Elder’s preach occasionally. Sermon’s typically last 30-35 minutes and conclude with a musical response time for people to reflect and engage with The Holy Spirit individually.

After the service, we usually hang out gather together for food (pot luck style), desserts and coffee. Everyone is welcome to eat with us… we even have a special kid table!
